Chief Instructor: Sandra J Ellis 5th Dan MAEd PGCertAS CertEd

INTRODUCTION

Sandra has been teaching professionally for over 18 years within Karate but her number one passion is dance, where she has been active for over 36 years; competitively and as a professional dance teacher within Ballroom, Latin and Freestyle via the East Kent Dance Academy.

Sandra holds a 5th Dan karate grade and a Master of Arts in Education (Cant) and Certificate in Education (Cant). Sandra has a special interest in children with Asperger Syndrome and mild autisim and has attained a Post Graduate Certificate in Asperger Syndrome via the Sheffield Hallam University, inconjunction with the National Autistic Society.

She has two karate clubs in Ashford, Kent and Canterbury on Saturday mornings for children from the age of five.

Sandra is also the joint chief instructor to the a large chain of karate clubs - Kent Karate Schools.
