NAKMAS appointments and promotions

Under the NAKMAS Opportunities Policy, NAKMAS welcomes membership applications from clubs, group and associations that practise a traditional or modern martial art.

There are three categories of membership:

FULL

Full membership is open to all clubs that are led by a bona-fide black belt or equivalent and have at least 15 student members within their club.

ASSOCIATE 

Associate membership is open to groups or associations that are led by a bona-fide black belt 3rd Dan or equivalent and have a minimum of 100 students within their group or association.

SATELLITE

Satellite membership is open to associations or governing/representative organisations that are led by a bona-fide 3rd Dan or equivalent and have a large membership within the body.

Direct individual membership is not available within the NAKMAS NGB. Individual membership is only available via NAKMAS registered and recognised clubs, groups and associations.

APPLYING

NAKMAS insists that instructors that wish to consider NAKMAS NGB membership apply to NAKMAS requesting a NAKMAS NGB Guide to Membership. Please send an e-mail to NAKMAS Admin ( ) providing the following information:

1. Age (if under 18 years)
2. Martial Art or Discipline
3. Grade
4. Your E-mail Address
5. Full Postal Address (if the NAKMAS NGB Guide to Membership needs to be posted)
